The first time I met Tim was at his freshman orientation. I was going into my senior year at Cal Poly Pomona and was part of the Food Science Society leadership. There was onde day at the orientation were all of the clubs had booths set up for the freshman to peruse. Tim saw the Food Science Society booth, walked up and said "here are my people!". Tim talked with the club members for a few minutes and then spent the rest of the day helping out at the booth. He certainly was with "his people" and will be greatly missed in the food science community. I thank the Lord for allowing so many people to come to know Tim and to take example from him on how we should all treat eachother; with happiness and genuine care. God bless.
